Harpoon Food meets the British Retail Consortium's (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety for the production and packaging of frozen spring roll pastry, vegetable spring rolls and vegetable curry Samosas.

BRC Global Standards is a leading safety and quality certification program used by over 17,000 retailers and manufacturers in over 100 countries across the EU, North America, Asia and other continents.

The BRC Global Standards for Food Safety are rigorous and continually updated. They are recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and have met every GFSI benchmark since 2000 when it was first benchmarked.

We maintain this certification with an audit and inspection twice a year.

We are certified by the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) for compliance with ISO22000 Food Safety Management Systems – Requirements for any Organisation in the Food Chain.

Identical equivalent certifications include GB/T 22000-2006 and ISO 22000 : 2005.

We are certified by the CQC for the technical requirement of GB/T 27302-2008, Food Safety Management Systems for the production and export of quick frozen convenience foods.

Our certification applies to the production and export of frozen pastry foods, including frozen spring roll pastry, frozen vegetable spring rolls and frozen vegetable samosas.

Our ISO 22000 certification is aligned with ISO 9001 and integrates the principles of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point System (HACCP).

Our spring roll pastry, spring rolls, curry samosas and money bags are certified "Halal" in accordance with Islamic Law by the Shandong Islamic Association.
